The Hollow Floor 3 Puzzle: Demonology Solution & Festering Felix

Floor 3 is The Hollow hub's Demonology layer — the Biter's randomized maze hiding a puzzle room with a coffin, a Grave Lock, and eight gravestones. It is the floor that sent players searching, so here is the complete solution, with the full walkthrough living on our dedicated Floor 3 site.

The Room and the Rule

The puzzle room spawns in random spots on the floor — the tell is the ancient, graveyard atmosphere and the coffin in the center with its Grave Lock. Before reading stones, grab the free hint: from the entrance, forward and right, a poem on a big paper states the rule.

Eight gravestones surround the coffin. Each carries a picture (Broom, Ghost, Witch's Hat, Bat, Spider, Cauldron, Pumpkin, Scared Cat), a name, and two dates. The values are randomized per player and every restart — only the rule is constant.

The Code: Three Youngest at Death

For every gravestone, subtract the birth date from the death date — that is each ghost's age at death. The Grave Lock opens with the pictures of the three youngest at death, ordered youngest first. One verified run's ages (yours will differ): Scared Cat 39, Ghost 41, Spider 42, Bat 45, Pumpkin 50, Broom 51, Witch's Hat 55, Cauldron 62 — code: Scared Cat, Ghost, Spider.

Coffin → Relic → Escape → Felix

Correct code opens the coffin: take the Third Night Relic, fight your way back past the Biter to the elevator, and descend to the lobby. There the relic converts into Festering Felix — a free UGC head accessory — plus the Floor 3 badge. The escape leg kills more runs than the puzzle does; hug walls and commit to the elevator.
